Not gonna lie, after reading that article on the front page yesterday about how it is impossible to obtain a UPS truck , I saw this on the news last night and thought, “That’s one way to do it.”

saw the video on my local news earlier
im going to assume the cops shot the bystander going by how many holes they put in that ups van.....
maybe not have a shootout in the middle of fucking traffic?
easy for me to judge from over here i guess

My Dad got shot at twice as a UPS driver. Though once was because the guy intentionally being shot at tried to hitch a ride on the back of his truck.

Was really crazy watching the video of the cops using civilian cars as barriers. I get it was a high pressure situation, but not sure if engaging there was the right option. Especially since it’s not clear yet whether the robbers or cops fired first. The whole thing just doesn’t sit right with me.

That was some really unfortunate timing with that article. This story is probably all over that comment section now.

So what happened is that two thieves did a jewelry heist, then hijacked the nearby UPS truck to getaway.
Then at a stop the re was an exchange of gunfire that resulted in both criminals, UPS driver and bystander getting killed.
Don’t know the facts yet on who killed who, but based on the situation and holes in that truck, I’m suspecting it was the police who got both innocent folks.
